It's hard to believe that after Chris Samuels, Andre Smith, and James Carpenter, along with CyKo that we are having trouble with true LTs. Not to mention DJ Fluker. Tackles should be lining up to play for us.

I just accidently clicked on the Arkansas board for the first time ever and it blew my mind in half. I want no part of that.

Just a shite ton of little razorback logos, none of the words made any since. It was all a big blur. But let's forget it happened and sorry I brought it up.

Depriest? He had a good year, and played great in some games, most notably the LSU game(besides that missed tackle), and the Mich game. ...The guy has been getting real playing time since he was a true frosh. He aint losing his job.

I'm with Funky Tide on this one. Depriest is a stud. Dude lays the wood. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he took more snaps last year than CJ or Nico.

This is exactly what I saw. But this is a little easier on the eyes.

I'm fairly certain he did. The only time Trey came off the field was in Dime, because CJ was the only LB we played then.

@Andrew_Gribble: Alabama starting LB Trey DePriest suspended "for a short time" for violation of team rules.

Anyone hearing anything about what he did? Trey's never come off as the type to do anything seriously bad, but I get the feeling even if he only misses a couple of practices we may see CJ and Tana inside for some practices until Trey earns the job back, which shouldn't be hard.

ETA : Nevermind, if it has anything to do with his kid then I'm sure Saban wouldn't take his starting position away from him for trying to be a good young dad.

Brandon Greene continued to work with the tight ends. That's three consecutive practices

My guess is we need some beef when we do a 3 TE offense right?

I still don't like taking young players who were in the 2 deep at their respective positions and moving them like we've done with Fanning and Greene. And why? So we'll have an extra big blocking TE? Move an older player like we did with Brandon Lewis in '11. Orr maybe? Or a younger player buried on the depth chart like Wilson Love.

I have the sneaking suspicion that Fanning wasn't going to be in the two deep on the DL. Maybe pass rush sub packages.

I agree. His height makes him a bit of a liability in our run defense scheme.

he may be working with the OL and the TE's. We don't know much outside the 10-15 minute viewing period where he is working. My guess he will be the first OL off the bench when we go to short yardage and bring in another OL to play TE.

I think that the coaches probably know what they are doing. Not worried.
