Coker had whatever the opposite of pocket presence is. I'd guess he was mostly responsible for about 80% of the sacks I saw last year(with Dominick Jackson picking up the slack for the other 20% and that's just in the championship game). I can remember few things more frustrating during the Saban era than him going through reads like an invalid before running backwards, fricking his tackle in the process, and then either going down or just launching it to God knows where

Coker, at times, looked horrible out there. But his 2nd half of the season was simply awesome. Sure, another QB might come in and have a better overall season. But, I don't think any of us should expect the QB this year to outperform what Coker was doing in the 2nd half of the year.

I think Coker gets more grief than he should, but his pocket awareness was always a weakness. It will help, whoever the QB is in 2016, that the OL is likely as good as it has been since 2012.
