Anyone good at Farking in here?
Change hat to Clemson Orange and write "Stolen Valor" on it.
Could also make orange cheeks clemson paw prints. Maybe the score to purple and gold.

Sources: Alabama is expected to hire Virginia Tech wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins for the same position. Wiggins also had been in the mix for a coordinator role at Temple. I'm hearing Virginia Tech could target Jafar Williams, most recently...

Yeah DeArmond is basically all in on implying we’re bringing Bo Davis back. Someone tweeted that we just had a couple of defensive positions to fill and he tweeted back “One in April” with the wink emoji.

Again, I don't dislike this hire at all, but "respected by his peers" has to be my new favorite coach hiring cope/modifier. It's just so ridiculous and vague and meaningless... absolutely perfect.

... or maybe you don't know anything about him and are overreacting?
I will say that Saban has his ways. When he initially started cleaning house I was getting skeptical. Now it seems he is putting together a good team of men to leader our guys.
Saban is still Saban.

Correct me if I am wrong but the Barn hired Bruce Show Cause and he was coaching during that period.

Davis' show-cause only relates to off-campus recruiting. He can still be on staff and coach our players during the spring.
From the NCAA's ruling: "Any institution employing the former assistant coach must restrict him from all off-campus recruiting activities as defined by Bylaw 13.02.14 (2016-17 Division I Manual) from April 14, 2017, to April 13, 2019."
Yes, Pearl was hired while his show-cause was still in effect. He was not able to recruit until it expired, several months after he was hired by Auburn.

Davis could work with players, but I would imagine that Saban wants a Dline coach who can talk to the 2020 class until Davis can leave campus to recruit. Does off campus recruiting activity cover the relationship building stuff via various forms of communication or strictly visiting highschools/camps? (because obviously if he is allowed to do everything on campus recruiting wise and allowed to text/call, then there is no real issue)

I don't know how much it matters right now anyway because so much of the spring recruiting happens on campus. I think, though, that off-campus recruiting means actually physically being off campus. But I could be wrong.

I believe the college coaches don't start visiting the high schools until May when spring drills are taking place at the high schools thus Bo's deal as far as recruiting doesn't matter. I am going to assume the Bama staff will work with the NCAA making sure everything is handled as needed with Bo since Bama had to terminate him. Dot the I's and cross the t's. Since the fans of all other SEC schools believe Nick owns Emmert it will be good to call upon him for Bo.

Well, Coach Cool is out recruiting. So, there has to be some sort of agreement behind the scenes.
