We aren't trying. All the underneath stuff is getting batted. The farthest throw was about 10 yards.

If we have this little faith in Jalen Hurts, can we at least give it to Bo every play. I don't think we're scaring them at all in the passing game anyway

Huge mistake by Saban and sark by not calling timeouts on the last offensive drive. Hurts throws a pathetic curve ball to Ridley and makes it 3rd and 5. Then we run the ball to the short side of the field where the entire Clemson defense is camped out. fricking stupid. If we would have called a time out on the 2nd and 5 and came up with a good play call, we would have been in field goal range at least. Bad coaching by Saban

I mean, I thought the 2nd down was a bad call, but how many times have you ever seen a football team take a timeout to draw up a 2nd & 5 play? Pretty much never. Bizarre take.

Why can't we just run the ball until they drop their safety, then throw deep?
It's our refusal to consistently run Bo. Our drives fall apart whenever we drop back to pass
