I thought in real time that it was PI, and wondered why Waddle didn’t complain at all. I was wrong, Waddle was right.

Score too fast

It is the big 12 problem.

These offenses make their own defenses look bad over the course of a competitive game and the season.

They either score too fast or give the ball back on downs too soon/often, stopping the game clock with incomplete passes.

Either way, it is a lot more time on the field for the defense.

It was Saban's point several years ago on the uptempo and HUNH offenses. Is this what we want CFB to be? It's a track meet and the defense gets gassed.

Do you mean when the blitzes are called vs not what type of blitzing used?

Both his long passes were late. Ruggs just made up for it by outrunning the DB backwards

I actually think we maybe should run more jet sweeps this year. Things I would not have said a few years ago.

Tecnnically it was PI. He had his hands on the WR's upper arms too early and impeded his abilty to catch it. They let early contact things go more than they should, imo.

Running game has been effective if unspectacular so far today. Nobody is getting stuffed in the backfield.

Definitely looks like the coaches want to focus on the power run game today

Same. All 4 of our WRs are great open field runners.

Yeah, that debate about who our best running back is ended pretty quickly.

He’s clearly the guy. Now I just wonder if Keilan could possibly work his way into the number 2 role
as the season goes on.

Maybe BR has gotten a bit too big. He looks too sluggish at times. Doesn’t have a chance to do much in open field cause he can’t get there
