After Ole miss got put of the scripted first drive the defense has been holding its own.

The defense has been tackling better as the game has progressed. I'm actually surprised at how physical we have been given our first four games. This is how we should have been playing all season. This defense is talented enough to do this every game for 60 minutes.

As much as Saban preaches play to your highest standard every game, these are still college kids and they needed a game like this where enough people were talking up Kiffin and Ole Miss to give these Bama players a little extra chip. They are stepping it up. Especially defense.
