I saw plenty of times in Bama games and other games where they took the helmet of the starting QB even when the QB was in perfect health. Its a way to ensure they don't go back out there.

agree, Mac is throwing too hard on the 1st few passes he gets to throw in every game. He needs to be able to throw on 1st or 2nd and get a true feel for the game
