Harrison is a practice player. Game time not so much.

Harrison had a bad game, but he looked good in the first 2 games, and he looked good in spot duty last year...if you go by just this game, there are several others that struggled today as well...

I don't care how Saban dresses it up, Alabama played poorly today. They were sloppy and unfocused....and they'll get beat if they don't clean it up.

This pretty much sums this one up for me as well.

Still a nice luxury to feel frustrated with a win.

whereas this may be true they still scored 48 points in all fashions of the game. We gave up a lot of yards in the last 8 minutes playing a lot of soft D

Old Pete, not knocking him, but risk and reward. He is the kid that is RIGHT next to the play but not making it. Kinda like Ro with the cowboys. #15 hustles the system. Chalked it up to him being a fr last yr. This yr, not so much.

FWIW I thought the hold on 50 on the big Scarborough run was a bogus call

I agree. Our guys got held much worse than that and nothing was called.

Agree, he did not look good today...Humphrey had several plays like that today too...I think they'll both bounce back as they should have a couple of less stressful games the next two weeks to hone up...but we'll have to wait and see...

I also thought Humphreys Pass Interference call was terrible. Not sure I even seen him touch the WR

Quote from coach after the game
quote:

You have coaches getting IVs," Saban said as a frantic room settled. "You have players getting IVs. But the old fella doesn't need an IV because they don't make 'em like they used to."

I could have done with about half of the quick screens called by Lane. At one point Jalen had was like 5 of his last 7 for zero yards. That's almost hard to do. Lane seemed to completely abandon the run in the second quarter. Thank baby Jesus he rediscovered it in the second half. Dieter isn't as good as mullany and I miss slotty pippen.

Any update on Stewert, Minkah, Jackson, and Re Foster?

Ridley dropped one i this last game? 11 is the one who dropped a sure TD in game 2. I like his moxy and am not calling for him to be benched. Just not the sure hands guy we had last year who transferred in for one year
