our number 2 batter looked like dog crap in his first couple of at bats. batting around 250

It's frustrating that with a team this lacking in punch that we can't find ways to do creative things to manufacture runs.
But, if you aren't fast and don't have guys with good bat control, there isn't really much else to do.

Well he is a freshman and they’re known for looking like crap from time to time. He did rope one to center that the CF made a great play on.
