Slowly but surely, UT had a decent defense. The rbs also seem to be pass blocking better.

Lot of improvement today with the reduced procedural penalties. I don't understand though why there are still so many errant snaps.

Seth has always had issues with bad snaps

First tangible improvement I've seen in the second half, snaps aside. Hopefully they can build on it.

Really? I don’t recall it being an issue prior to this season. Could’ve just forgotten though.

Maybe Tw1st3d can expand on this, but what i noticed a lot today was we were overloading the line on the right side a lot (2 TEs beside the tackle).

That was leaving Proctor alone on the left side. But it forced the defense to shift to the right. Proctor had help on the inside in the form of Booker. I think it simplified the reads for him and it limited what the defense could do. If the end tried to rush to the outside it would create a nice cutback lane.

Did anyone else notice this?

Most plays the line gives the QB plenty of time to pass the ball. Half of the sacks would be eliminated If the QB didn’t have a mental block about stepping up in the pocket.

The QBs fumble today was absolutely not on Proctor. Stood deep in the pocket forever and refused to step up.

I was talking to the tv saying step up, step up! My nephew who isn’t a Bama tan said, “y’all’s QB has zero pocket presence”.

8 games in. Brad Nessler explained about how Tommy Rees is scared to think about ball snaps.

I am too.

High, low, left, right, early [w/ penalty] ... you name it.

Milroe had all kinds of time yesterday and the run blocking was steady. I don’t remember Auburn being in our backfield very much
