Miss Kiffin and Sark. Sorely miss them.
So you think we miss 2 guys that were or were among the best offensive coordinators in college football?
ok
That we had those 2 guys in succession was just a fluke, and both of them were predicted, even by a lot of Alabama bans, to fail. Alabama fans shouldn't really expect another Kiffin or Sarkisian as OC.

Just because they didn’t play well doesn’t mean they weren’t playing their asses off.
So they're just not good then? Still not a reason to be proud of them. You can be proud of your own kids just for trying and happy just as long as they have fun, but these guys are at the highest level of semi-pro football. Effort isn't enough. I'm also not sure how you can really make that assessment. To me, a defensive back giving up five touchdowns to one receiver makes me question effort.

Not sure what game you watched. Young was running for his life on almost every completion. They almost never gave him a clean pocket and allowed him to get hit almost every play
Some of those plays is because we always have late development routes so Bryce needs to hold for +4 seconds. That is a long time to consistently block especially with a rush.
I'm not defending them as being awesome but outside of Cohen's lazy arse they were bad.
Here's a question for you; when we go no huddle 2 minute drill and Bryce takes control of play calling how does our offense perform? OL?
Would you say this is consistently?
Now think about when we are running calls from our OC and Bryce doesn't have the time to check out and change the play? Tell me how we play?

Ah, okay so we need the best Head coach. We need the best and most talented players.
However according to you, we don't need the best coordinators and getting them consistently is just a fluke.

Yeah I'm done with this discussion with you.

Let's see the link where I said we don't need the best coordinators.
I said don't expect another Kiffin or Sarkisian. They are the 2 best at Alabama in my lifetime and I thought it was a fluke they were one after the other. But expect it to happen if you want to.
Like another poster commented last week, if watching Alabama football made me this upset, I'd just not watch it.

200 posts in 8 years, and it's to mock a poster for not criticizing the team.
That's not suspicious.

you mean like last year in the SEC title game?

No. This is not that team.
What makes you sure this team isn't as good as last year's team, and as likely to win the SEC title?
Because in my opinion this team is at least as good as last year's team. Young has a better all around game, we have deeper rb depth, and the wide receivers are improving.
Now, in a reasonable discussion, is where you note the things that support your comments.

Could you imagine what CJ Stroud and those receivers would do to this defense? We might be looking at a 2018 Clemson again

You are entitled to your opinion.
This team has no discipline whatsoever on the field. Last years team would wipe the floor with them.

Thanks for being positive, Boz. I’m with you— we can still salvage the season.
If not— welcome to the real world, guys. This is what other SEC team have dealt with the past 15 years.
A dynasty had to end sometimes…. spoken from a life long Patriots fan.
Roll Tide. Hoping for a strong bounce back game against State!

I expect we will win the rest of the regular season games and play yet again the SEC title game.
The offense looks great (edit for those who love to moan and groan) but I am sure there will be games when the offense struggles. It happens to every team every year. I know some of these posters are enamored of Tennessee, but I guess they missed the Pitt game.

We have to be. Kids and coaches work their butts off. It didn’t go our way, we have issues but we can win the rest of our games.
