Curt Cignetti won coach of the year? Dude is calling some lame arse play calls. Punting, running the ball down 4 scores.

Indiana shouldn’t have been in the playoffs.

To the surprise of nobody Indiana gets dominated by the 2nd good team they played even with garbage time making it look closer than it actually was.

Extremely boring game. Prepare for many more like that in this playoff format.

We are literally crazy to play another non Midwest G5 or very weak south G5 team.

Even our SEC schedule should never have UGA, Texas or any threaten team not named tenn and Auburn.

We need to give these B1G media shitheads and ESPN what they want. They demand we play more conference games then punish us for playing harder schedules. frick them

Good. I’m not cheering for most of these undeserving “Cinderellas”

Everyone that wanted these expanded playoffs because of “fairness” can suffer watching these trash matchups. Bama/USC/Ole Miss would’ve all been more exciting games vs ND

I said before the last ranking that Indiana was the outlier that was keeping Bama on the bubble. Yet, their schedule was very weak, and they had no top 25 wins. They had no business, just like smu, being in the playoffs

All true, but that’s not why we aren’t in. We aren’t in because we lost game that we shouldn’t have.

This is bullshite slant the media created and Alabama haters push because their biggest fear is Alabama in a playoff.

Oklahoma is a good team.
Vandy is a good team.

They both had top 8 SOS and still went 6-6. That Indiana team would have had a losing record.

In the end it's about who are the BEST teams. You prove how good you are by who you beat not who you lose to.

In this new CFB world all that matters it seems is losses and not wins. Indiana beat ONE team with a winning record. Forget ranked for a moment, most of their schedule consisted of teams with losing records. That’s just stupid

I don’t think a lot of Bama fans realize just how ridiculously hated Bama is. Heading into the playoffs, Bama got talked about just as much if not more compared to some of the playoff teams. Saw a Boise State fan that said he was just as excited Bama missed the playoffs as he was that his team made it. Some a ND fan on Reddit whose every single cfb related post on selection Sunday was about Bama not ND

Hell even today you head on over to a place like r/cfb and they were shitting on Bama instead of talking about the playoff game actively going on.

Saban seriously damaged a lot of people’s minds the last 15 years

Media may have been pushing this narrative but I watched those games. Bama shouldn't have lost to either team. The OU game was one of the worst effort games I've seen by a Bama team and staff.

I agree with you, but there are plenty of undeserving teams that aren't Cinderellas too. Notre Dame is an example. The top half of the SEC could have sat all their starters and gone undefeated with that schedule.

ND lost to Northern fricking Illionis.

Spare me this self-hare bullshite where we have to overstate things regarding our team, play to different rules then others then fall on our sword.

That OU game they took away a legitimate TD, gave them a TD ignoring a significant hold to extend a drive on 3rd down and allowd them to PI and hit our QB in he head repeatedly on the last two drives.

We got hosed but because it's Alabama no one cares and everyone cheers.

I agree with YStar for a change. Either Vanderbilt or Oklahoma would have been the second most difficult game on Notre Dame's schedule. Their most difficult was A&M and I'm not sure Vanderbilt isn't better than them

We aren't even playing and people are more worried about talking shite about Nick Saban and Alabama than the actually playoff matchups.

I really don't like how some fans take their agenda driven nonsense then come here and preach it like it's fact.

They abhor us. The weird thing is we won so much but we weren't even that bad about it. For a team to win that much our fans were pretty tame.

They lose to us and they talk much shite than we talk when we win

We lost games we shouldn't have. OU is a 1 horse team. ND lost to 1 team they shouldn't have, their coach was able to get his team ready to play and win the other games they played. Bama didn't do that.

It came down to wins and losses. We had some horrible losses. At the end of the day Bama failed on the field.

I'm not a proponent of a 12 team playoff because I don't believe a team with 3 losses should be playing for the NC.

I hear what you're saying though...teams are playing on different playing fields. ND, SMU, IU all played horrible schedules. That is a separate issue that needs correcting.

So did OSU, Tennessee, Clemson, Texas, SMU, Georgia, and Arizona State. The only reason the other teams didn’t, outside of Oregon, is because the played such a weak schedule.
