I feel the same way but read to what Saban has to say about him:
This guy is one of the most complete people that I've ever had the opportunity to coach," Saban said Saturday. "He's a great person, he's a great student and he's a phenomenal football player -- great competitor. His competitive IQ, how he responds on the field and reacts instinctively, it's in the top tier of all players, all-time."

Earlier this season, Saban called Downs, "One of my favorite all-time players. Absolutely. One of my favorite. As a freshman -- the maturity that he showed, the preparation, the way that he performed. I loved the guy. He's a great person."This guy is one of the most complete people that I've ever had the opportunity to coach," Saban said Saturday. Extremely high praise from the GOAT talking about an 18 year old kid.

Hopefully nobody overreacts to App St fans “throwing things” at opposing team. That seemed like harmless fun.

So Big 10 pretty much guaranteed 2 playoff host spots (PSU and loser of OSU/Oregon conf champ game). ND likely getting another one. One host spot up for grabs.

Eta: But go Army - you never know.

I don’t care what Saban says about him, Downs can get f’d. I hope we play OSU in the playoffs and Jam trucks his arse.

I don’t know what Dillingham was thinking with how he handled this.

If BYU pulls off the miracle those refs need to bolt for the exit ASAP.

I want ASU to win but I agree. If I was the BYU coach I would be wearing that ref out about this.

Also this is BYU. What is ASU doing rushing the field like this? Not a rivalry game. Not even a top 10 team.

Because that shite is not even about big wins anymore. It’s about getting on the field to record it with their phones. Getting in the BYU players face that was on the ground. It’s all ridiculous.

Penn St is going to be the draw every playoff team is begging for.

Indiana shouldn't sniff the cfp. No team without a single top 25 win should ever make the playoff. Obviously.
