Through 2 seasons, we had 2 such games each season.
We're probably going to have another game or two (if we go the distance) where we've got to outscore a good team but I'd agree that last week was likely an aberration until more datapoints to the contrary.

Rogers can take the top off. Thats a big advantage in a game with Williams who can do the same thing (if he catches it).

Brooks has been our best deep threat not Williams since he got on the field.
For a variety of reasons, Williams speed ends up being more of a threat when they can setup screens or reverse runs.
Getting another guy who is more of a deep threat is a big get for us. Especially if the early returns on the run game hold up as the season progresses. We're going to have deep throw opportunities when teams load up to stop the run game.

He’s allowed 30 points 3 times out of their past 24 games. For comparison, the 2020 defense allowed 40+ points 3 times in 12 games.
They allowed 17.8ppg on 2024 and only 291ypg last year.
Since CKW has been here, Bama has allowed fewer points and yards than Georgia.
I don’t know what else people expect.
They gave up 30 on the 1st game last year and in the 15th game last year, in the other 13, no one did anything and they were responsible for getting the team to Atlanta.
The only program in the entire SEC to allow less points over the last 2+ seasons than Bama is OU, and is extremely close.
People forget about Heupel dropping 43 and 48, Ole Miss scoring 46, losing 51-48 to tBarn, allowing 47 to Florida in the SECCG, etc….
The defense is very good and will finish top 10 in Scoring or Total D or both for the 3rd consecutive season

I agree. 11 personnel has been okay, and much better recently.
I agree that they should never have be in 10 personnel unless it’s a 2-minute situation.
Edwards and Pritchett at TE are both very good.

Danny Lewis is the best blocking te we have. I also like when we bring in Tyrell Miller.

Despite their play last week, we still have one of the most experienced secondaries in the country. They probably played their worst football you’ll see all season. I think our defense has 4 first rounders on it. The 2 corners, Thompkins, and Pierre. The defense will only get better. I thought our gameplan really just wasn’t very good against FSU. In theory it should’ve worked, but I just didn’t think we needed to put out corners on an island against them. Lee had a bad game but he’s still a heck of a football player
