Pretty sure that Miami’s defense has lost at least three games for Tua this year. fricking atrocious.

Mac had some INTs, but I thought he played well...he made some really great throws.

I guess Purdy will return and get to play with Kittle and other returning offensive starters.

Happy for Bryce today.

Tua...Miami is a mess. What you get for hiring a pothead HC. Tua hasn't been lights out, but he should probably be 3-3...not 1-5 or whatever.
Miami will likely tear it down to rebuild...not sure if Tua will be in that plan or not...but I think he's there next season due to the contract and the fact I doubt any other team would take that on.

Miami and Baltimore have to be the most disappointing teams.

I knew Miami would be bad when I saw some statement (can’t remember the exact phrase) from their GM in the preseason that seemed to be a coded message of “we need to reset this roster” without outright saying it.

The problem with Miami is they drafted an injury history QB and he had an effective OL for 1-2 seasons max. His best season was the year they had something considered middle of the road for an OL in the NFL. Most of his career they’ve had a bottom of the league OL by most metrics.

Not Tide but Tide adjacent: Michael Penix Jr looking pretty good so far tonight.

Having a good looking young QB with a few legit weapons and a surprisingly good defense while also having Raheem Morris as HC is the epitome of Falcons football. Even when they get it right, it's still wrong.

I do think DeBoer pretty clearly knows how to develop a QB though, which is going to be really important going forward with a more level playing field in terms of talent.

Ty Simpson looks like a first rounder right now and Penix seems like a guy who will probably get a second contract the way he's progressing. DeBoer could have a nice QB recruiting angle pretty soon.

Same game…Bills WR Tyrell Shavers…played for Bama 2017-2019 but finished in Texas?

JA tried to hit Shavers deep but pass failed.

Non-football obs note: Bijan Robinson looks and talks a bit like Eddie Murphy.

No doubt. It’s not as if we didn’t sign the best prep quarterback in America in the past recruiting class and have two more really good ones in next year’s class.
