NE goes defense with thier first two picks. They're not going to help Mac and then bitch when he isn't Tom Brady.

He was supposed to go before Gibbs. Maybe his interviews were bad.

So who gave Eli Ricks advice about NFL draft status? Midway through 3rd round and he is showing as the 119th best player available, behind Latu and one place ahead of Hellams. Had he worn out his welcome or was he just delusional from they hype at LSU?

New the Niners liked Latu but damn didn't think they would go round 3 for him. Finally got another Bama guy.

He should have come back for another year.

Byron Young

He played some real good ball towards the end of the season. He and Branch stood out the most towards the end to me

Of all the guys that left early, he was the one I thought would return because he could have really boosted his stock. The first 60 overall picks or so get what I consider "life setting" money... basically when you could bank at least a million bucks after taxes, roughly, with your signing bonus. Not to say the money isn't good on down the line, but those guys better hope they make it to their second contracts... theoretically the signing bonus amount is all they're guaranteed (first rounders aside) since they could potentially not even make the roster (unlikely with a 4th round pick or earlier, but it could happen).

As a 49ers fan im so confused with the Latu pick. The GM said he has a dog mentality and is a good blocker. I wa familiar with Latu getting beat.on blocks then just standing looking around.

They believe he is going to develop learning next to Kittle. 3rd round is still too high though. Anyway the Niners took a placekicker 2 spots earlier so who knows what the hell they are doing. We mortgaged the house for Trey Lance so we might have to assume they are just shite at the draft.

Where are the guys who were saying we have no talent?? They are quiet now.

8 players drafted in the first three rounds and people were saying it was all on the players and not the coaching.

That damn coaching cost us a three-peat.
