Does anyone else think that it is laughable that most likely the one thing holding Jeremy Pruitt from the Alabama DC job is the NCAA? The NCAA has lost all its power when college athletics decided to let the players have all of the power to do whatever they wanted with no consequences. I have no idea what the job of the NCAA is in this day and age of lawless college football, but are they holding out on handling the Pruitt situation so they can soak up their last chance of having power over a player or coach? Just doesn't sit right with me that you could be holding a coach back from getting a job because he gave his player $400 so his mother could have hip surgery, a real life situation. When now players and their families are getting millions to come to go a school to play a child's game, crazy times!

Rules are rules don't you know? Honestly though, I kind of see it this way too. NCAA has always targeted bad ol' Bama and it appears they want to go out with guns slinging. Hopefully they won't be able to do much more to Pruitt than has already happened with his being out of coaching two years and all. I think Saban with Pruitt one last time could be an amazing last chapter to the old man's legacy, assuming he stayed till the end as DC.

$400 made the difference in mom being able to have hip surgery? It's fricking hilarious that someone could be so stupid as to actually believe that.

400 sounds like a deductible if this is true what it was for.

I haven't seen a $400 deductible since 2007.
