I wonder what UW is allowing per rush since the 1st Q. It’s still not great but it’s been passable

Passing game was terrible against Michigan. We all saw it. Washington is light year’s better when it comes to the passing game. This shouldn’t even be a conversation. What does it really matter what Wash did against Michigan in the first half anyway?

If we want to compare them then let’s look at the running game. Bama ran on this great Michigan defense. 172 yards including 6 sacks. Would be well over 200 yards without the sacks.

Didn’t we want to get back to “joyless murderball”?

Washington’s D was solid that drive.

We tried running a few screens, it took too long and got blown up

Kinda mirroring our Auburn game. Plenty of stops but like 4 40 yard runs

UW's shot themselves in a foot quite a bit, still easily within reach of taking the game over

There is a reason Washington’s OC was Saban’s 1st choice

Yep. He has actually called a good game.

He mixes things up

Michigan playing that soft zone so they are throwing underneath it.

Has 7 for UW been in since the half? Wonder if DeBoer had the tough conversation with him

Just ran a nice screen out of no where.

They don't just drop back and hand the ball to the RB. They do WR end overs, screens, sweeps to get the RB outside, etc...

We run such a limited set of plays it makes it even easier to stop us

Our OL wasn’t even close to athletic enough to execute the type of stuff UW is having success with

Penix’s last two throws have been bad.

2 times now a UW WR has quit his route while the ball was in the air ? Really weird for a title game, or any game.
