Both of them have the tendency to stand up straight while defending.

Fire the defensive coordinator

If that was a ncaa tournament game, we would have probably lost.
Got a few beneficial home ref calls that you won't get elsewhere

I'm referencing passing to a cutter across the lane. They couldn't stop Grant all game

We’re going to have issues against smaller lineups like this because our guards aren’t very long and our 5s aren’t quick enough to guard a smaller 5.

Getting Youngblood back will be huge.

Also for the love, do we not practice zone beaters?

We will lose a few games along the way depending on Jarin Stevenson and Aden Holloway making shots consistently.

I'm a keep reiterating this...their shot mechanics are INCONSISTENT!

At least it’s the offense struggling, not the defense. Oats will figure the offense out

Jarin is what he is. He sucks but will have 1 elite game every 5 or 6 games that will keep you believing in him.

Stevenson can show up in big games though. Holloway faded and found the bench at AU.

play Stevenson a Lot LESS

Yeah I’m coming around to this as well. Not sure what he adds for the number of minutes he gets.

Most concerning thing about that game? Rebounds. We had no business not dominating them in that category and it was basically dead even.

Kind of surprised Mcneese never bothered to foul

They didn’t foul because it was less than a 10 point game. NET wise anything under 10 is good for them. They didn’t want to risk us going to the FT line and winning by 14-15 points instead

I have never seen a guy get as much love from one good performance as Stephenson... that said, I though tonight he made two very good cuts to the basket in the first half and finished both

Well the issue is this...

Jarin Stevenson and Aden Holloway not making wide open shots to push the lead.

I don't believe in their shots to save us.

Naas Cunningham and Houston Mallette are better in game shooters.

The defense is cheeks as well. We get blew by too much or we fall for crazy pump fakes.

Average to bad shooters taking shots that they really shouldn't have a constant green light on.

He's not consistent offensively that's for sure, but he gives us more length on the defensive end with his versatility.
