I loved the defensive intensity in the first half. Every shot McNeese took was tough.

Just checking in and noticed that McNeese State is not only favored to win their conference.... they have 3 players on the preseason 1st team all conference and two others on the 2nd team all conference. Not too shabby (hope I'm not repeating someone else's notes)

Saying he needs to be more consistent at 3s isn't exactly a mind blowing revelation. But I think he's doing a ton of things better this year. Oats even has him playing the 3 in rotations. But he's been much more physical under the basket. He's driving on offense, rather than immediately throw up a 3, he's passing it and overall looking more comfortable playing offense, rather than a strictly catch and shoot guy. He looks more comfortable and is doing a lot more blue collar kinda things.

But I don't think he can do the same against the AP Top 25. He needs consistency in his 3s.
