I appreciate the fact that your child was taught to communicate logically and unemotionally. It took some time for me to make that fast in mine.

Ultimately, CBS Sports went back and looked at tape and the determined that Sears was not only not playing well on offense, but he was not giving effort on defense.

I am going to assume Oats did all of this for the good of the team and Mark. We not only have Mississippi State coming up, but a dangerous three game stretch against unranked teams. I had previously feared this stretch as it would be the perfect time for guys to overlook another team and get beat. I now think that possibility has been greatly diminished by Oats’ getting after Sears.

Watch what is going to happen. Sears is going to ball out vs MS ST and Oats is going to praise the heck out of his work ethic and character for bouncing back. He will note that it wasn’t a big matter, but one he needed to get cleaned up because he knows Sears is capable of playing high level defense at the next level.

All is going to be well again soon. .

That's rational. 9999 times in 10,000 the teacher is right, but I will believe my kid, because of that 1 in 10,000.
So... how many other decisions in life do you make based on taking the .0001% likelihood? I genuinely want to know.

No, i must not be making myself clear. Im saying it is extremely stupid to believe, as you do, that 9999 kids out of 10000 are not telling the truth about abuse.

But lets just stay here with your belief that all those kids are lying. What on earth could lead you to think like that?

But also, where did you learn how to do math? You have gone from 99.99% of kids are lying (1:10,000) to a .0001% (which is 1 in a million) likelihood of it being true? So why do you think 1 in a million kids are being truthful about their abuse? What makes you think that way?

It's ok dude. Math is hard. And i think you misspoke. I think you believe more than 1 in a million kids are being truthful about abuse. But next time dont try to call me a fool when you cant even do basic math. And for gods sake listen to your kids if they say they are being abused.

I will answer your question that has nothing to do with kids being abused or lying about it.

No i dont think my parents should give me their house because i have a family. Never have thought that or know anyone who thinks that way.

Why do you think 999,999 out of a million kids are lying about abuse?

Either there's a miscommunication here and where you're thinking legit abuse he's thinking about dumb shite like a bad grade or not as much playing time as the kid wants, or he's the perfect Catholic/youth pastor program supervisor.

Let it go dumbass everyone got what he was talking about, Most kids nowadays want to blame their bad grades or getting in trouble at school on the teachers or anyone expect themselves. You probably go the school and make a big scene over nothing because you seem to like drama.

Yeah, right after i get done telling my parents to give me their house i head down to the school and make a big scene.

What about my post makes you think i like drama? Was it the math or the listen to your kids part you dont like? I dont think we live in a society where i can trust the teachers over my own kids. Im very comfortable with that belief. If you live in a community where all the coaches and teachers can be trusted, im very happy for you. I'd like to live in a place like that too.

But most of us live in the normal parts of America where lots of bad shite happens in schools, in sports, in churches, and anywhere. I hope that every kid has parents or somebody that will listen to them when they have problems. And if LovetheLord truly thinks differently, i guess i would like to understand his point of view. Some of you have been parents a lot longer than I have. I dont pretend to know everything about being a parent. But i feel pretty confident that more than 1 in a million kids are telling the truth about the abuse or mistreatment from teachers/coaches they recieve.
