I didnt say BAMA would win. I said he'd give them trouble. And he would. ND's qbs ran enough to keep them honest. Neither have the ability to hit the homerun like Milroe. Their corners struggled too. Greathouse broke 4 ankles on one play.

Going to be tough for him to look as impressive against the ‘24 Dodgers of cfb.

If Freeman watched Tejas/OhioSt, he'd install some pass plays to his running backs. OhioSt struggled to cover them all night.

But that’s just it, they will get drafted because they have IQs well above functionally retarded and they have work ethic. They worked to improve their skill level.
Meanwhile “Muh 5 star”hasn’t done shite to improve other than grifting an NIL deal from the portal.

Yeah so what? Michigan lost 5 games including getting the frick blown out of them at home to Texas.
So using your logic:
Alabama>Georgia>Texas>Michigan>Ohio State..LOL!
See how stupid comparing scores is?
BTW, Michigan played Alabama without 2 superstars on defense, their 1st and 2nd string rb and their starting QB in the second half.

Alabama got embarrassed by Oklahoma and Michigan. Could hardly move the ball on either. And guess what? Neither of those are offensive juggernauts.

It;s if your"TEAM" shows up.
Kids geting lots of money don't have the same drive as in the past.

That isn't my logic at all. I simply was making the point that on any given day, a team can play well. OhioSt clearly didn't play well vs Michigan and PennSt didn't play well vs OhioSt. Therefore, PennSt might not play well vs BAMA, especially since BAMA's defense was playing very well at the end of the season.
Not quite sure why that's such a hard concept for you to handle, but here we are.
You say it's stupid to compare teams, yet you do it.

BAMA was embarrassed by OU and Michigan, so they couldn't move the ball on PennSt? How's that any different than what you called "stupid"?

I think Riley Leonard got $1 million to transfer to ND from Duke, but yeah, their team does feel like a throwback...all the way back to 5 years ago lol.
And Ohio St is just the poster child for purchasing a national championship.
We're going to lament all off season on how they're killing the sport...but hey, only tv ratings matter.

You can look at how a team performs statistically for comparison. Tennessee had a top 25 defense. OU and Michigan had top 25 defenses. Penn State had a top 25 defense. Georgia is an outlier. I can then infer Bama loses that game based on that information.
It’s not the same as comparing scores.

Not to mention the fact that Notre Dame is a helluva lot better coached than Alabama. Freeman would coach circles around DeBoer.

It’s mind blowing we still lost to Michigumi; the same thing happened against Oklahoma. Their entire WR corp was out and they beat us with 68 yds passing.

How did you come to this conclusion ?

From fricking watching both teams all year.
I mean, where the frick do you want to start? Tennessee? USCe? fricking Vanderbilt? Oklahoma? Michigan?
Did Freeman lose a game in part because he had two players with the same numbers on the field on a play where the opponent was literally trying to give him the ball? Did Freeman get his fudge packed by a team that ended up with a losing record, in a game in which his QB scored more for the other team than his own entire team scored?
How did Freeman's team respond to a bad loss, compared to how DeBoer's team responded? That alone tells you all you need to fricking know.

So basically saying ND is better this year than Bama? No shite. Deboer took a lot less talented team to the same spot as ND is in last year? I would say his overall resume’ is a lot better than Freemans . That could change next week but maybe , just maybe , Bama’s problems were a lot deeper and can be blamed on talent and a QB who to put it mildly , struggled against teams with a competent defense

Were you saying the same thing when Freeman was “ out coached “ by the NIU coach ?

If you look at the coaches as a whole (not just Freeman vs DeBoer) ND is better coached. Alabama was out coached multiple different times this year against weaker teams. They did not look well prepared so many times this season. And honestly you can easily argue some of our positional coaching (like OL and WR among others) has been lackluster for a few years now
Again I’m not saying Freeman is definitely better but more so coaching as a whole at Bama hasn’t been all that great for a few years now. Especially outside the HC spot
