Thank god our fans don't hire the coaches.

I hee-haw laugh at people who think Kiffin is a genius. Kiffin and Mullen both are head cases.

They are both great play callers. Id take either as OC any day but not as a HC.

Kiffin gets too much credit for being a great play caller. He is good but no better than many others considering the talent he had at that time. He couldn't hold Homer Smiths jock strap to be genius level.

Your right, I got Hamilton and Ragland mixed up.

I thought he was a good OC. I thought Sark was just as good if not better and way more professional.

Imagine BOB with Blake Sims at QB, and you’ll realize how dumb this post is. Did they not utilize Henry enough? Sure, but Kiffin is one of the best offensive minds in the game. He might not be the best at maintaining morale as a HC though.

All my OSU friends say that when Henry started running over them, they thought that would be the ballgame. They were stunned and very grateful when we stopped running the ball.

I like Kiffin, but in that game he was guilty of getting the QB blinders on.

Sims threw a great deep ball

Yes.

And he sure as hell couldn't before Kiffin arrived in Tuscaloosa.

No one on this board in 2012-13 ever expected Sims to throw a meaningful pass at Alabama.

As others have said, not leaning on Henry cost us that Ohio State game.

A focused Lane Kiffin is the best play caller in the game. A distracted, selfish Kiffin is one of the worst.

Lane’s hubris is his downfall. I thought that he had matured but the last month and a half prove otherwise.

Would have been nice if the defense could have made a stop on third down. They converted a lot of 3rd and longs in that game. I still remember being in the dome and watching Ohio State warm up. My son looked at me and said damn Dad they look like us. That Ohio State team was really damn good.

Kiffin was a huge fan of Henry. When Saban invited Kiffin to come to Tuscaloosa and critique our offense, the most important thing he said was that we were not using Henry. He said Henry should be used extensively or he might transfer. So him not using Henry in that game was inexplicable.

As we’ve seen, Kiffin loves to try to prove he’s the smartest man in the room. Hard to do that when you’re calling run plays.

Hell, Washington couldn’t stop Bo Scarborough but that didn’t stop Lane from trying to call pass plays with a struggling Jalen.

BAMA was #1 seed that year. 2014 was the first year of CFP. Ohio State sneaked in at #4, with Cardale Jones at 3rd string QB.

OSU flipped arse backwards into that National Championship, they know it. It’s why they haven’t won one since.
