We heard it for years Bama’s kryptonite was a mobile QB .. it wasn’t just ours .. the QBs did it to everybody .. we just had a defense they thought if anybody can stop this it’s Bama ..

Milroes legs made him so dangerous and masked the fact that he was a deep ball only guy ..

Keelons ability to scramble against Kirby wasn’t used enough .. I don’t want Keelon hurt but I wish we would have used his legs to hurt them by design

Happy Monday and phuck the Vols

Kirby's plan: Keep 2 safeties to eliminate big pays. Keep everything in front of them. Force Russell to throw into tight windows and sit on the run........What Bama didn't do enough of was to have a variety of dynamic runs from RBs and Russell. Russell could have had a few designed plays and rolled the pocket more with pass options. The RBs needed better blocking. Georgia was well versed in what runs we were going to use. Our OL blocking was not the best in the game for pass or run. We never established enough of a running game to force Georgia out of what they wanted to do defensively.

UGA's d line push was fairly discipliined in the first half. They lost that in the second. There were quite a few opportunities for Keelon later in the game. They threw the sink out there and won by three. I think we can improve and win the rematch straight up.

Yes, I believe with:
*A more seasoned Russell
* Better offensive and defensive gameplans
* Just give me EVEN luck
* Different refs
We do win the 2nd match up.

The bigger problem, especially in the second half, was the defense not being able to get off the field on third down, causing the quarters to tick away while our offense stood on the sideline. I think we only had three possessions in the second half. That's not enough opportunities for an offense when you're going against elite defenses.

Keelon had some open guys in the first half when he was trying to make tight window throws but he never got to them. Their pre snap-post snap looks and pressures had him second guessing. The hallmark of that defense is they’ll show 7 and bring 4 but you never know which 4. If there’s one thing Keelon has shown so far it’s that he’s a quick learner and doesn’t need to see something over and over to grasp it. I think the OL will be better prepared if we see them again too- or for the rest of the schedule for that matter. Once the tape got out after UGA last year, moving the ball got substantially harder. I don’t expect that to happen this year, we’ve got to get healthy though. I think there’s still two or three losable games on the schedule.

The kryptonite is the runs that are improvised and unplanned. Milroe was a designed run QB and you can see that it clearly did not work after the first half of the Georgia game. In subsequent games, the designed QB runs did not work at all. Milroe could not run the RPO offense and that's why the O tanked for the season against better defenses.
In summary, no it would not be effective to use more than one or two designed runs in a game. It won't work and it will get kelon injured.

I would like to see this, and I believe this would have been effective Saturday night

In a rematch of UGA wants to play that safe 2 deep crap all game again we need to run for 250 plus. End of story. Only way to get them out

Keelin played like a first year starter which was expected. He did a good job but he was more indecisive this game as we should have expected with a Kirby smart defense. I expect by the time bama gets to them again he will play much differently.
