I just have a feeling that's he's better in game than everybody at the QB position.

He has Jake Coker vibes all over.

I have very low hopes that anyone else will get a meaningful shot until after the A&M game.

I hope they get a fair shake this week coming up.

I disagree about WR, for me that was the lone bright spot- I saw WR running open all night and they went and got the ball on several bad passes. Bryce Young with that group last night would have shredded Texas.

2 of the next 4 minimum is my guess, could be 3.

Solid assessment Twisted.

I agree on WR’s I was watching live them running open. The times Milroe did see one we either scored or he threw a pass that was almost intercepted.

From the scrimmage and that’s all I have minus the 10 seconds against MTSU, Buchner is calm in the pocket, will throw away when needed, and can read a defense. I’ll take it. His arm isn’t as strong but I don’t care.

I believe a change will be made and whoever it is will be an upgrade for sure...I think we can all agree with that.

If they go with Buchner, JAM and Haynes become the best options at RB.

If they give TS at QB, Jase is likely the best option at RB with JAM and Haynes at 2/3.

I honestly have no idea but do think they will go with Ty or Tyler going forward instead of Jalen?

JAM needs more touches IMO regardless of who is the QB

Tyler would be the best option for the running game and short to intermediate passing game. He is calm, reads the D best at pre-snap and best at check downs.

Ty would be best for the deep passing game and passes to the middle of field (digs and crossing routes).

I could definitely see that. Some guys are just gamers. They play better when the lights come on.

You make my point for me. I remember a Mac Jones with Sarkisian as his OC throwing two pick sixes against Auburn.

That was completely different. Jones had one Milroe-esque throw in that game on the first pick. The second interception he did the right thing by checking down, it just deflected off of the target's helmet because Harris did not turn his head in time and it happened to go directly into the hands of the Auburn player due to their magic. Other than that, Jones was 26/39 for 335 and four touchdowns. He played a very good game against a defense that to that point had not given up more than three touchdowns in a game all season. Auburn that year had one of the nation's best defenses and one of its worst offenses, so Alabama's defense lost that game, as they would over and over during the Golding era.

I'm tired of people trotting that game out there as though it was some horrible performance by Jones and as though it proves that Milroe is destined for greatness.

ETA: Joe Burrow only managed one touchdown and one interception against that 2019 Auburn defense and had fewer yards than Jones did, despite playing at home.

Anyone who companies Milroe to Mac needs to be banned.

At this point, Tyler is the best option. However, if I were making the choice, I would start Ty next game with a short leash. He did not get a legit look vs MTSU, put him in after giving him the week as QB1 to prepare and see if a killer comes out in him. If after 2 or 3 possesions Ty has not screamed This is mine! Give the game to Tyler and let him try to keep it moving forward.

Sorry, my question probably wasn’t clear. Do you think they will actually switch QBs? Saban has a history of letting the senior player keep their job well after they should have been replaced.

Should he change? Yes!

Will he change? I doubt he pulls the trigger this week.

If he pulls the trigger this week Milroe will be done and gone as soon as he can. Mentally he will be toast.

If he does not pull the trigger this week, I suspect TS will be done (if he is not already).

Last year Tyler showed he can stick with it at ND and was ready to go at the end of the season. I hope that carries over here in T-town.

I suspect that Simpson will understandably fed up with it and transfer. Buchner will be starter early next year with Lonergan and Sayin possible starter by the end of the year. That said I won’t be surprised if Saban sticks with Milroe in spite of all hell, Lonergan also says goodbye, and Sayin deciding this mess isn’t worth it. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think Saban will win another title but it sure has been fun.

Milroe plays the position just like we did in HS. When he breaks the huddle, he knows where he is going with the ball.

The guy has had over 100 practice sessions since he arrived (spring, summer, and fall) and he's still playing HS ball.

Nick has a potential problem by pulling the guy with his roster makeup.

Texas is going to get all the love for beating The King but that is going to be shown false.

Nick made this mess so lets see how he resolves.

Looks like the BSC Bama Sunshine Club is struggling with the loss.
