And we can win our next two games without Tua. Use the running game and our defense will shut the barn down.

Josh "The Nail" Jacobs is mad about something. He just runs mean and mad. Although I disagree with placing the best tag on any of these backs,I would have him in the game on 4th and goal.

I was pissed when they pulled Jacobs at the end of the last drive.

There has to be a formula somewhere that says pull them out. We have done that for years.

I've been saying that since about the 3rd game. He just plays angry and can do it all.
I love Damien but he misses some easy blocks.

Damien knows the offense better, is a better leader and blocks better. Jacobs is better at playing receiver.
I think they're on the same level but I'd take Damien if I had to choose one. We've got plenty of good recievers.

He was especially fired up today. Looking for contact from the very beginning.
I still like Damien better as a big run breaker and a bit better as a guy who can kind of slip through a hole that was barely even there.

You know it's kinda disappointing we have had like 1 really explosive run all year. That long td Damien has against ole miss has been it. Our guys just don't have the speed to outrun folks

I wonder if Jacobs played any qb in high school. Unless I'm mistaken, he's been the qb every time we've run the so called "wildcat" formation. He and Mac Jones splitting time vs The Citadel might work, giving Tua and Jalen the day off.

I caught a lot of flak last season and since, on any board, when I would suggest that Tua was better than Hurts and should have started the Auburn game, but let's not forget that Jalen did beat Auburn his freshman year.

This is plain wrong and it basically shits on our defense. We can beat that average Auburn team with Skyler Delong at QB.
Our defense (not our offense) is why we beat down L8U and MSU and both matches our QB didn't play that great in the first half.
With that said we ain't beating Clemson without Tua... and not this version which has been inconsistent.
We need the real one
