I just think comparing Burton to Cooper is ridiculous. Cooper was a fantastic receiver for us each of his 3 seasons at Alabama. Won the Biletnikoff. Was an essential contributor to a national championship winning squad.

I agree that it is great that Milroe has possibly found a trusted receiver but the comparison is unfair to how established Cooper was when playing with Sims. Burton just ain’t at that level right now.

It is. Which is why it’s such a weird thread. Nobody is comparing them.

I’m not. I dont want him getting penalties obvously but at least he has some dog in him and some fire we’ve been missing from the reciever corp the last couple years. He doesn’t really have Bama WR1 skills but damn if he doesnt think he does which is the attitude you want in your recievers.

YEP! People have been complaining about lack of dwogs, especially on defense. Now we have on in Burton. Guys with confidence and swagger often do great things. Look at Prime Time.

Don’t agree with the assessment at all. Burton had a big day yesterday but he also had eight catches in the first five games entering yesterday.

Why is everyone upset eith Burton?

Personal opinion here, he doesn't appear to be sure handed enough to do all the talking that he does on the field.

i thought that was malachi that johnson went after. regardless, just like dallas, he gave the ref an opportunity to flag him. dont give the refs that opportunity, period. you know dang well they'll flag bama with joy in their hearts.

My brother and I were talking about it yesterday. We both said if Jalen can get to be as good as Blake sims we will take it. I think he is past that honestly. He continues to grow and develop and he will certainly surpass sims this year.

The thing is that there those plays all day long in every game from every team. Turner was hit in the back and laid out one time after a play was over. It was a foul but wasn't called and is football.

You can't call every little thing which is what the ref did on turner's bitb foul.

Burton can talk all the shite he wants in my opinion. If we can get half of what he did last game, each week. We will have a legitimate #1 and add in the fact you have Bond, this passing game might be a force

Button has played very well this year, till A&M Milroe just couldn’t do justice to his efforts.
By the way what happened to Prentice, Brooks, Preston? Just vegetating on the shelf.
Can’t block? Is that why Benson, who has done nothing this year is playing?
