Lol look at this confidence in the defense. They had trouble with KJ yesterday. LMAO!

We held Arkansas to 250 total yards.

They put up 426 yards against the LSU defense.

I don’t see us keeping pace with them. They WILL score a lot.

Limit their drives to FGs and keep the ball away from them. Play defense without penalties.
Pray Milroe can control his high throws and has a decently accurate passing outing.
Luck favored LSU last time, hopefully it’s our turn now.
It’s going to be a bloodbath either way.
PS: Don’t want to see Nussmeir play in the game. Through injury to Daniels or otherwise.

If LSU’s defense is really that bad and according to the stats it is, we will be able to run on them. Doing that slows the game down. We need that.

Bama was a stupid facemask penalty away from a blowout win. The team got complacent and lost respect for Arkansas, but it was a lesson learned hopefully.

Hopefully we have been preparing and practicing for them since Spring. We will need something extra to thwart them.
I Think Saban always has that game circled every year.

Alabama held Ole Miss to 10 points in Tuscaloosa. A team that put 55 pts up and 700 yards on LSU.

I really question if some of you just started watching football this year.

This Bama defense is very good.

Edit: speaking in general. My comment not directed at RTRcdub.

Bama also scored 24 points on Ole Miss. Alabama is averaging around 24 points per game against decent P5 competition. Do you think Alabama is going to hold LSU to under 24 points for the game? BTW, they scored 49 on Ole Miss at Ole Miss.
In addition, you should know by now that the transitive property does not apply in football.

You’re acting like it’s stupid to think Bama might struggle against LSU

I ignored his insult and that's OK but I've watched football long enough to know that Bama has had much better defenses struggle against offenses and QBs exactly like this LSU squad.

Defense needs to continue to play well and if the offense limits penalties and turnovers I think Bama wins without too much of a problem.

LSU hasn't sniffed a defense as good as Alabama's this year. We diddle around on offense and things could get out of control for sure. I think our D makes a statement in this game.

So week one you're as good as you're going to get? Is that your story?

My story is that it's difficult to evaluate Daniels because LSU has played horrible defenses outside of week one.

Just put a spy on Daniels...I don't want to see him running for chunk yardage, especially on third downs.

Our offense will obviously have to play their best game and not leave our defense out there to get worn down.

Let's worry about Tennessee first.

Coming into the game, Auburn had a very good defense according to metrics. They cooked them and it wasn't just because their offense couldn't get it going. LSU was moving on them early and gashing em late.

Man, every single team that has played Arkansas has had trouble with Jefferson to some degree. He is a 250 pound quarterback.

We did not have a huge problem with the guy. He broke a long run when we had a rush breakdown, and escaped a sack by Terrion by wrestling out of a pretty good grasp, but that is about it.

Arkansas is better than their record indicates. They lost on a last second field goal to LSU and were in other games. Their worst defeat was to the A&M team we beat two weeks ago despite having an atrocious game on offense with 9 pre-snap penalties and two turnovers.

Let's be honest. We will NOT be able to run on LSU. We have not been able to run on anyone. I mean, ANYONE!

Like everyone else, LSU will load the box and dare us to beat them throwing the ball with a quarterback that leaves a number of things to be desired. I was happy, though, to see us get a red-zone TD running it against Arkansas.

LSU defense is decent up front, but they are god awful at lb and at safety. If you can attack then in the middle of the field you can really expose the defense.

However like Auburn we really don't attack the middle of the field, so this looks like a matchup we can't really expose.

A good defense keeps that LSU offense to 30, I really don't see how we score 30 on offense. Going to need some breaks to go our way to win this game

Arkansas attacked them passing with the TE in the middle of the field.

BTW the TE that killed them was injured by the next game and has not played since
