Milroe has been the best player in the country through 3 games. 8 passing TDs, 0 INTs, 67% completion for a QB rating of 213. He's also got the 4th most rushing TDs in the country. He's on pace for 56 TDs in the regular season.

Now... I don't expect him to keep up this pace, but so far he's been really good.

I have been surprised how often Milroe has run the ball this year with designed plays, but it's worked very well.

14 total touchdowns, no interceptions, 1 fumble lost, 67% completions, 4.3 ypc even with the 5 sacks counting against his rushing total, has 2+ passing TDs + 2 rushing TDs in every game this season.

I'd say he's done pretty damn good thus far.

this is the key to having him at QB. Running him opens up the passing.

Also, Milroe has made a marked improvement at running the zone read. His eyes and handling of the mesh point has been great. He's doing a good job of getting defenders to make their choice then doing the give or take fluidly. I see some bubbles tagged on the ZR plays in the Wisconsin game. I imagine we'll get to see him run the modern triple option some soon.

Rece Davis and Saban broke down film and showed they're doing it already.

He’s a competitor and done well thus far. Lots of good competition coming up so he can solidify his good standing. We’ve been pretty dang good on bringing power to the defenses with our starting OL. It will take a truly special defense to shut that down especially if Jalen can hit a deep pass or 2.

What’s surprising about Manning is his speed. They say on one TD he ran about 75yds touching close to 21 mph. That’s impressive for a guy his size.

Manning's dad was a fantastic WR in his day.

Archi Manning specifically credited his mother for his speed.
