75% of the fans in this conference want their coaching staffs executed. The remaining 3 or 4 are nervously hoping their good start holds up.
We're having a near melt over the starting QB's word choice.

Yes, but it isn't the people you think.
The only way this usage is correct is if there's reason to imply Vandy isn't our next opponent. Context is important. If I said, "Tomorrow is theoretically Thursday." that only makes sense if there's some reason to believe the calendar is changing or the world is ending. Producing a coherent thought is just as important as correct grammar.

So, as long as a person stumbles upon a viable word that fits within a sentence, it's ok? It doesn't matter if it changes the meaning of the sentence to something that person wasn't saying?
