No clue on the decision there. And giving him the ball in the backfield? Sark got a little cute in the 3rd quarter.

He’s got to be the only TE returning kicks, right?

Correct. In the history of football he is the only one.

He needs to take a knee and bring the ball out to the 25.

I mean, I wasn't as perplexed at him being back there as I was at the fact that he KEPT BRINGING IT OUT

1. Probably no need for a whole thread on a matter that is being discussed elsewhere.

2. Didn't many of us wail and wonder why Saban had Waddle out returning kicks when he was one of our best players and we have others who could be taking the injury risk?

Why not put Jase back there? He’s a weapon that we need to use in some way

McClellan is legit. No doubt. I guess that the coaches trust a guy that has seen big time college football game environments and can handle the moment.

Yes but why the TE? He’s athletic but he’s not Vernon Davis that runs a 4.37 forty.

I'll be honest - I'm totally content if we put a walk on back there who just sticks his arms out every kick.

Just give the offense the ball (aka don't fumble it) not inside the 10 yard line (aka don't clip somebody). That's a win.

Yeah, and then Sark took a look down at Saban and said hold my beer, and dialed up the unheard of TE jet sweep. The first one in history.

Did Billingsley run a 4.2 in practice last week or something? I had forgotten about the TE sweep.

However, I think that was next level gaming by Sabes. He made Sark look bad for 2 possessions because he was looking WAAAYYYY too damn dialed in and good early on. Good enough to convince even the most AUsome booster that maybe they should give this Iranian Drunk a shot at the top job on the Plains.

Saban said ehhhhhhhhh we gotta shut this shite down.
