Of course not

Wommack isn't toast.

So a loss to Georgia would have been better? It’s still ONE loss.

This isn't a serious question, is it??

It's the worst loss in my lifetime and I'm in my 40s.

1999 - It was Bama's 3rd game, Bama was only ranked 18th and was coming off a 7-5 season. The expectations weren't that high for that team.

2000 - Bama was 3-4 by the time UCF rolled into town. It was embarrassing, but the season was already over at that point.

2003 - Bama was 2-1 and expectations weren't high. It was Shula's first year. I was at that game. That one sucked but the team ended up 4-9 and so it wasn't quite as bad in retrospect.

2006 - That wasn't fun, but it was under Shula. Bama had already lost 3 games at that point and wasn't ranked. Not a shock to lose that one.

2007 - ULM was embarrassing and gets brought up a lot. But Bama went into that game 6-4 and on a 2 game losing streak. The season was over at that point in terms of doing anything more than going to a bowl game.

In none of these game was Alabama ranked #1. To me, losing to the worst team in the conference when you're #1 is worse than a 6-6 Bama team losing to a MAC team.

So yes, Saturday's game was the worst loss in history. At least in my lifetime.

I mean, it wasn't the best game plan....but be honest. How many times was there like a 3rd and 7, Deigo throws a 4 yard pass and their 2 star WR/RB just buries their head into the chest of our 5 star LBs and backs and drives for the first down. It was embarrassing to see Bama's talent stand flat footed with no thump.

Why not? Some of you need to look at what George Teague had to say about preparing for a offensive scheme like Vandy runs.

So a loss to Vandy counts as 1-1/2 or 2 losses? Is that what you're saying?
