Virtually all of the reporting (some conflicting) is being done via various mainstream media outlets. It appears to me the public seems to trust them all too much. Imo, people should tend be more skepticle instead of trusting them to determine and report the truth.

Are you saying the president started the pandemic? Because my statement was that the pandemic brought an incredibly difficult, no-win situation TO the president, to which he had to react. Unless, you are saying that Trump started the virus in China, then I do not think you read my statements properly.

No, I'm saying his administration's decision in 2018 to disband the pandemic response team within the NSC helped put him in the difficult situation he found himself in because it left us unprepared to face the difficult situation adequately at a time when many, many experts were sounding the alarm and the president was lying and downplaying the threat.

Well, to say that would be completely non-germane to my proposition and I'm not sure why you would bring it up.

The pandemic came, not of Trump's doing. Trump downplayed the pandemic because 1. a lot was still unknown, and 2. if this PRT is the same group that brought us the baseless scares of the past, I wouldn't listen to them either. 3. To go crazy over an unknown would be utterly senseless.

There may have been very good reasons for disbanding the PRT. For instance if it was redundant or was not a wise expenditure of monies or if they gave crap information on a regular basis. It also may be that the organization was simply under some reconfiguration and a number of biased actors see an opportunity to spin things scandalously against the president. Given the occurrences over the last 3.5 years, this last point is not absurd at all.

Prattville shoppers should've been buying and hoarding alcoholic beverages instead of TP and baby wipes?

These are the ones in my area that have closed I believe the only one left is in Trussville and maybe Fultondale, if it’s still there

If more Americans were skeptical and thought for themselves, they would look for the truth rather than believing media outlets who have biased reasons to promote half truths and lies. Too few people know how to think for themselves these days. Thank the educational system for that.
I see people quote lies the media has printed and spoken without a doubt when all it takes is a few moments to find the truth.
Never trust any media outlet or politician without doing a little research to learn the truth based on what has and is actually happening.

I am beginning to see one thing. The pandemic story seems to have a built in un-falsifiableness. News accounts tell us that there are 175,000 confirmed cases. But then tells us that there are unknown numbers of unconfirmed as well as asymptomatic cases. The fact is, we don't know that there are very many of these, but the unknown will be used as a number fudging tool for quite some time to justify certain positions. 175,000 people is unnoticeable in a world of 7.5 billion people. Thus the need will be to count/extrapolate "unknown" cases. Of course, on the flip-side, if one extrapolates unknown cases, then they must also use those to calculate mortality rates.

If we have wrecked our economy and lives for a blip on the radar screen, there will be hell to pay.

Don’t want to get in an argument about this really but you can thank our government / legislators for your educational problems . Can’t legislate education

I also see from the CDC that Coronavirus cases have been plummeting since March 9th. So much so that they show no new cases for the past 3 days in the U.S.

I may be misreading something or missing something.

That may be old or something bc everything I have read or heard has been increasing

Then again, you might be right IDK

That map showed MS with 1to 5 cases and last I saw we were at least 10

Look down where it says

COVID-19 cases in the United States by date of illness onset

That is where I get the numbers of cases per day figure.

I also cannot figure out what the

Under investigation 6,493
Total cases 7,038

Means. What does under investigation mean? Are they investigating if the have it, or are they investigating where they contracted it?

I believe those are the "preliminary tested positive" figures in which doctors believe the patient has the virus but are waiting for the test to confirm it.

I re-looked at it. It means they are trying to figure out how it was contracted. Where did you get your numbers? Do you have a link?
