How about ol' Commander Data?
He had that whole thing with people all over this site donating him money and he mostly disappeared after that. He returned after a year to make a few posts but hasn’t posted since

They probably permanently migrated to a forum where discussions and what should be separate topics aren't buried under an endless sea of lazy mega-threads.
Imagine going to the rant and seeing the mods have lazily chained every topic and breaking news piece to a mega-thread. It would steer a lot of posters away... Wanna find out Kiffin is fricking Miss America? Better off checking Reddit than wading through ten pages of one mega thread for a single piece of breaking news.

His postings about women's softball where other fanbases thought he was talking football were the best. He could soft set the hook better than anyone.

Trey was just a Michigan fan who went to Alabama for the weather and better looking women.
I was friends with him at Bama, and after, but I haven't seen or heard from him in probably close to a decade at this point. He was something else on this board.
