Exactly.

Growing pains are inevitable. The same people that thought BAMA would go 9-3 are pissed off BAMA lost because the loss was to Vandy? Who gives a frick to whom they lost? Mad because co-workers are going to tease them? Or they talked too much shite on Xwitter and now they have to eat crow? Get fricked.

If I have to choose between beating uga and losing to Vandy or losing to uga and beating Vandy, give me the uga win every single time.

Vandy means nothing. Less than nothing. Uga is 1-9 in their last 10 vs BAMA. Who the frick do people think BAMA is going to play in the post season?
Vandy? I'm ok with losing to Vandy once every 40 years.

Kirby also did not start with one of the most talented rosters in the history of the sport, coming off an overtime playoff loss and running the gauntlet in the SECCG

Kirby started with a pretty loaded roster, shite ton of NFL guys

Chubb
Michel
Isaiah Mckenzie
Mecole Hardman
Roquan Smith
Deandre Baker
Lorenzo Carter
Davin Bellamy
Isaiah Wynn

Hell we haven’t had a 1st rounder in a Mock all year until some guys put Milroe in the first after last week.

I truly don’t think we are as talented as made out to be. Recruiting has been missing on defense that’s for sure.

Sark also went 5-7 in first year at Texas, 8-5 next season. I used to lurk on Shaggybevo or whatever that board was and half their fanbase was ready to run him out.

Kirby lost to vandy his first year

Saban lost to ULM his first year at UA

Saban lost to UAB his first year at LSU

Urban Meyer lost 31-3 to Shula his first year at UF. Also went into double OT with Vandy

Brian Kelly lost to Navy & UCONN his first year at ND

This kind of thing isn't unprecedented. Even good coaches have bad losses.

Look at who those guys took over for when they lost those games.

You guys are comparing Nick Saban to Gerry Dinardo, Mike Shula, Ron Zook, and Charlie Weis. All those guys got fired for being terrible. The new guys had to rebuild.

most talented roster

Everyone keeps saying this, but talent doesn’t equate to discipline. Also, there are many rosters that are just as good across the board.

Aside from that, how do you control kids that make millions and can threaten to transfer at any moment? Sunshine pumping and coddling is the only thing that works in the game today.
