Will he go through freshman pains, or shine?

I think it will be a lot like AJ McCarron's first year.

Tough to disagree with that.

He's very talented, and has a really good head on his shoulders. Definitely seems to have leader attributes. I don't know how well he knows the playbook, and the CFB game may take some time for him to adapt to. I know JFF and Jameis won Heismans as RsFr, but not everyone can do that.

If DC starts, I really hope Barnett sticks around to be the heir apparent.

If Cornwell and Coker are battling it out in season and we drop 2 early, I feel that we should just put BB in for the rest of the season and let him have it. Unless he is redshirted. With that being said, knowing the history of Saban and how he likes things to be done I highly doubt this thing won't be figured out by game 3.

Johnny Football and Winston were redshirt freshman. Now Cornwell will not have the stats that those two had, but if he starts every game I would say
Yards: 2,500
TDs: 18
Int: 4

Just 4 INTs? I'd be extremely surprised and impressed if that happens...

If he gets the consistent run support that McElroy and McCarron got in their first years, he'll have a good first third of the season, a slump in the middle, and major growth in reading and timing toward the end.
