I think Mack might do a little better with some of the things due to his calmer demeanor.

We look pretty discombobulated at times before the snap.

You are absolutely correct, and that's what I'm talking about.
There are a number of college players with this problem. As I said, route reads are as much a natural talent as it's a "learned" skill. Even in the pros you see guys with great arms, scrambling ability and excellent Olines having problems finding the "open" receiver.
I'm surprised that so many people around here don't realize that.
