I don’t mean this too harshly, but you’re a moron.
Literally the only example you have was that our 5’10, 175 pound QB (with no legitimate backup option) should lower his head and fight for yardage to show that he cares?

but they are called student athletes. Recruits get to choose what school they go to, they should not be a loud to up and leave after a year with no consequences.
I love when people try to lob out student athlete, like some sort of pejorative... while following it up with some functional illiteracy.

I wonder if the players use any of that NIL money to help their families. That's sarcasm, of course they are. These are tough economic times that only seem to get tougher. And so many of these kids come from modest means. I suspect NIL is changing their lives. Probably makes playing football a lot easier actually.

You are taking the fun out of being a college student
I bet the players disagree.
Bet they are having fun just like the trust fund frat boys have always done in college.

Like it or not, it’s a different world than it used to be and teenagers and young adults have a hell of a lot more power and money making ability than before.
All these 15-22 y/o TikTok and IG stars making millions would have been living in a college dorm 30 years ago. Now they’re flying all over the world making videos and living the life.
It was only a matter of time before big-time college athletes (some of the most talented people in the world) started making bank too.
I’m sure some people didn’t like the integration of college athletics 50+ years ago, but you to had to embrace it to remain competitive. Now no one cares. When today’s 20 year olds are 50 no one will think anything of NIL because they grew up with millionaire influencers and all that shite.
Change is inevitable.
