Agree.

Just like he sounded as if he was a victim because no one asked him how he felt.

His statements have both positive and negative in them.

Probably a good thing the staff did not want him to talk sooner about this. Not happy? leave. Want to stay...good...dont try to imply you are the victim.

He's not happy, should've already transferred. Calling the coaches cowards isn't a great idea.

He needs to find somewhere he can play QB and be happy it sounds like. This is starting to have a real bad vibe.

Yeah, like "I've build a brand for myself" c'mon Jalen get out of here with that shite. No one at Alabama "builds a brand" for themselves, the culture is Saban and the program is "the brand", no player rises above that. It's proven to be the greatest winning formula in college football history.

Tua's comments were a lot about "we" and "us" improving and getting better, not just Tua and Jalen, but the team as a whole. Jalen's comments were mainly self centered, and honestly surprisingly so. This has never been the kind of way I, or any of us, have pictured Jalen before. Did it develop after his failures in the title game and Tua's heroics? Has his father put it in his head? Was he always this way and we just didn't know?

Don't get me wrong, I will say that it felt the reporters were tossing him some tougher question than Tua got, but still.

I do feel for Jalen, he's a great kid. I think his dad should've kept his comments internal...I'm sure it created confusion for Jalen and Nick. Saban seemed like he genuinely didn't know if Hurts was going to be on the team for the opener. I wish my man the best, this is just a life lesson and a coachable moment. You have to adapt to adversity...not every negative thing that happens is for a bad purpose. He either needs to put in the extra work to become a better QB or find a new position or career path. That's life.

I really didn't have a problem with anything he said until he threw the coaches in it. That's not productive at all. I have a feeling that he'll be talking to the coaches pretty damn soon

So this is the way I view today...

Tua’s interview was marvelous, he was all about the team and all about getting better. He just seems like an outstanding young man.

Hurts interview made himself sound like a little whiny b1tch. I built a ‘brand’? Get the fck outta here. And, it’s ‘asked’ not ‘axed’

Jalen and everyone else knew he wouldn't start and he's pissed that Saban didn't come out and say it.

"The man" told both of them not to draw attention to themselves.

Jalen hurts isn't a "brand". Jalen hurts is the guy who lost the starting quarterback job for the alabama crimson tide.

Well according to the British, americans wouldn't know "proper english" if it spooged in our faces.

Also what you're shitting on with jalen represents a particular vernacular or dialect.

I never thought Jalen would lose the mental coolness and confidence. He has been killing gophers at practice and doesn’t carry himself well. Receivers have been just picking the ball up off the ground and acting like they have caught it. I don’t know what else to say really. Hate it for him.

I saw a really low throw in highlights that fits what you describe. If he's in his head that much and feels the coaches didn't help this off-season, I feel for him.

Boz is back!! Glad to have you back my man.
Nothing is ever 100%, but what percentage do you give to Tua starting and to Jalen starting?
