Don’t care who it is as long as they’re able to recruit down here and are over performing in their current HC position. My number one candidate would be Dan Lanning.

I’m partial to Kalen DeBoer at the moment

I’d much rather have the guy he’s coaching against this weekend

I hope it is someone with the name "Dan Lanning"

I like the idea of him at Bama. Currently at the helm of a top-tier program, fantastic recruiter, understands the NIL money game, understands the unique things about Bama and has experience in the SEC.

That's the recipe to survive and hopefully thrive in the SEC

Zero.

There's too much money involved in college sports today for anyone to give a shite about anything other than (from a university perspective) "Can X coach/player win?" and (from a coach/player perspective) "Can X university pay enough and/or put me in a better position for success?"

That's it. Everyone is using everyone and everything for their own gain. Fans want the players in crimson and white uniforms to win and don't give a frick who the players in the crimson and white uniforms are or where they came from. The players want money and a path to success and don't give a frick which uniform they have to wear to get it.
