They arent. Where is Caleb Downs? Where is Trey Amos? Where is Dallas Turner? Where is Arnold? Where is Roydell Williams? Burton? Bond? Niblack?

Furthermore, Deboer beat UGA, LSU. South Carolina was a good win. A much improved UT beat him in Knoxville.

If we play Georgia at Athens that would be a loss and LSU is fricking terrible.

As a passer, Milroe is the same QB throwing bad interceptions against Texas.

The defense is not the problem. Stop throwing shade at things that aren't the problem.

100%. Our defense isn't the reason we only scored 3 points.

We knew going into this season that we were going to have a young defense. We needed our offense to rise to its potential to make up for this.

Yeah the defense last night was really bend, don't break. The offense did them no favors, similar to the Tennessee game. OU ran the Vandy game plan and Wommack still wasn't prepared but the defense did their part.

Offense flat out sucked. You can't score only 3 points and expect to win.

We have to give DeBoer the offseason to see what he does to fix the problems. If its the same issues, different players, then there's your issue.

But I will say, we should be careful, we don't want to end up like Nebraska, USC, UTK etc.. There's only one Saban, Deboer is not him. He will do things differently. Let's see if he learns from year 1 and makes changes

And giving up 40 to vandy is ok with you as well? I didn't say it was THE problem but it's definitely a fricking problem

If the scoreboard of the Vandy game had only included points scored against each defense, we would have won the game.

The defense is not the problem.

It truly is. Our QB has destroyed what is otherwise a loaded offense and has somehow also managed to put our defense in consistent, repeated, and rapidly accelerating bad situations.

Dude I agree Jalen is the absolute worst. But he isn't the only problem just by far the biggest

Well for sure there are other areas of improvement. Those other areas just aren't the reason we have 3 losses.

The defense is the problem, hell our supposed weakness the secondary , looks good.

Vandy surprised us, OK fine, but the same shite last night.

So we are Indiana South, bring a new S&C coord, if you need to, so we dont get pushed around.

Couple of my friends who went to the game who are not really big sports guys(just were close to Norman). They said receivers were open.

Wommack goes , get someone from the Saban tree ( he can help with that)
Give Sheridan another year with Ty or Keelon

Our defense isn't great, but its good enough to win when our offense is playing well. Unfortunately, they're not built to overcome constantly being put in bad situations by the offense.

If I told you our defense only allowed Oklahoma's offense to score 10 points, you would have never come to the conclusion that we lost the game.

And no, I will never put giving the other team the ball on our own 14 yard line at the feet of the defense. Those 7 points are on the Junior QB who got outsmarted by a Freshman DB.

The pick 6 alone was enough for Oklahoma to beat our team, and that was completely the fault of the QB.

Don’t know if anyone else noticed or thought the same way but I couldn’t get over how slow we looked . Keenan ( obviously big guy) , Overton, Milroe, Jam ( even though he had done decent runs, didn’t have much juice ) and Bernard stood out to me as looking like we were running on the beach

I completely agree that Milroe was at fault, but come on, OU could have scored whenever they chose WITH 6 WR OUT. Missed FG, dropped trick play pass in the first half.

2nd half if we would have adjusted on defense they would have done what they did , throw those short passes, because we would have overcompensated for the run.

You and Alti, this is good , we can go back and forth, much respect.

Edit Alter not alti
