We definitely don't want our athletes using it if it makes you lazy, non motivated. Even if its temporary.

Having lived in Los Angeles for close to a decade, I can’t recall a single person having “a guy” for pot. You just went to a dispensary and got some edibles or what not.

No one is trying to skim $4 in taxes by using a jank, unreliable hookup that can take an hour to get to you in his 2012 Nissan Altima

In Alabama you had to have your dealer and essentially coordinate whatever time of day, or even day itself he was available to give you some generic unpredictable product. In most cases that dealer was someone in your own fraternity house

There aren’t “illegal sales” in California because, to be blunt, the cops do not waste their time on that. I don’t know anyone ever arrested for Marijuana

Pots not my thing, but it’s a bit humorous seeing how much we burned in Alabama on it and California just turned it into a generic revenue generator like cigarettes or alcohol. Once a year you might smell it in public and that’s it

No, it's not a fact. He broke the law. There is no broader story than that

That isn't the fact that we were talking about. The quote you responded to:

quote:

people claimed we here on Alabama are brainwashed about marijuana

its not a claim, its a fact. and its not just folks in Alabama

quote:

Whether or not anyone agrees or disagrees with the law he broke is irrelevant to that discussion.

Cool, but we were going off on a tangent about how dumb it is that its illegal.

Most people I know in Alabama just get it shipped from a legal state, or just flies to a legal state and bring it back.

Like you said, I can't imagine that many people at all are messing with cartel weed these days. And saying that legalization doesn't/hasn't hurt cartels at all is absolutely ridiculous. Of course is has. How would it not?
