but I wish their fans and players had exhibited a little more class in victory. The chants and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties were uncalled for.
Meh, they earned it. To the victor goes the spoils.

Right like if we had won they wouldn't have been rammer jammered and sec chant to death. We have no right to complain about chants after games.

Sorry for the hijack, but dude, are you serious? You surely know the lyrics to Rammer Jammer? And the entire Bama fanbase started the SEC chant after LC's INT in the 1st quarter. Good grief. Once again, sorry for the hijack but this post was the epitome of ignorance.
Fair enough. My bias was showing and I apologize.

Yeah I mean chants are part of the fun of college football. After all we do Rammer Jammer. But Alabama fans should never do the SEC SEC cheer, that is so something South Carolina fans do.
But it doesn't matter if its Bama fans, Patriot fans, or American Christian fans the overrated cheer is dumb when you think about it.

Exactly. Let the inferior SEC teams use that chant.

It may make me sound like an arrogant prick but the SEC SEC cheer is what it is because of what we built. The phrase built by Bama also applies to "SEC tradition". Yes, by and large SEC tradition stems from our success. Being the first Southern team to win a Rose Bowl. Being the South's premeire program under Wade, Thomas, Bryant (in two different eras the 60s and the 70s), Stallings, and now Saban.
