I listened to about two minutes, realized he had no video, saw it was 50+ minutes long annd bailed. I did read your analysis/summary.

He’s speculating by suggesting that Simpson or Lonergan are better, considering there is literally nothing to base that assessment on.

Also, Your insults are almost as bad as your takes. “Dummy” “Stupid”

And I’m not even suggesting Milroe is playing good ball. I’m just accepting the clear reality that for 2023, he’s likely the best that we have. It is what it is. We whiffed at QB for this team. Hopefully Sayin is the dude we need.

Bro this team is so stacked they only need competent QB play. Simpson or Lonergan can provide that. Milroe hasn't proven he can so far.

What evidence do you have that Simpson or Lonergan can run the offense competently? There is none. That’s why I’m calling it speculation. It’s just a hope and a prayer because you don’t like what you see from 4. I mean I don’t like it much either, but all I can hope is he continues to get a little better. Simpson has been here for long enough and had a chance to win the job outright and came out of the competition THIRD. IN THIS QB ROOM. Doesn’t that say a lot?

I can’t even entertain any Lonergan talk. There’s no point.

No. We don't.

Again you have nothing to back this up. Nothing at all. Simpson has done nothing but complete one good pass against one of the worst teams in the country while taking multiple sacks holding the ball for ages. And Lonergan looked somewhat competent against the 3rd string D at A-day.

Milroe is the one who holds onto the ball too long. Ty Simpson was not at fault for one sack against USF.

Those who see all the improvement in JM’s game are the same ones that were crowning him after MTSU. In reality, he has played OK against two below average to bad defenses. Putting up 24 at home against OM is nothing to crow about, especially when gifted the bal at the 1 for one possession. Against MSU, Milroe only threw the ball 12 times. I’d say it was likely because the coaches know he can’t read a defense and State runs a weird D set, plus we could run it on them. Stalled drives and FGs are not going to cut it. Maybe Jalen goes nuts on the Ags, but he hasn’t shown any big strides. He still holds the ball., He throws guys into coverage, he is late a lot, and he abandons the pocket to go to his right with any hint of pressure. I want the guy to succeed, but his issues haven’t changed. He will do great against mediocre defenses, but he and the offense will struggle against even moderately competent ones.

One of JM's weaknesses is still pressure from the middle to the right side. If he breaks right this week, he better start to run up field quicky. Slowing down to look up field once he breaks contain could get him hurt badly.

It really is the past repeating itself. Some of y'all said Hurts was better than Tua

So uber mobile QB with a big arm, severe limitations reading defenses, and some leadership skills versus a highly touted pocket passer that hasn’t proven jack diddly shite that people crown out of pure hopium?

Is this Tua-Hurts or Hurts-Barnett?

I get the critique. Most of them are fair against Jalen. I will say he did make some tight precision throws in the middle area of the field that he hasn't made yet that were impressive.

I’m all about dishing out blame but that is on the center who snapped it 10 feet over his head play 1 or the shite play call in shotgun.

still making some bone headed plays, namely where he gets out of the pocket, hangs out or 20 seconds and takes a sack instead of throwing the ball away

My biggest gripe of not being aware.

Absolutely, I wasn’t blaming the QB for that. Just pointing out that our offense had some points served up for them by the D.

He doesn't want to lower his completion %.

A Jr. High QB should know to throw the ball away.

Any QB who would rather lose 5 yards on a sack - tackle for loss than throw it away, is either dumb OR more interested in his stats than the welfare of the team. I can't decide which is true for Milroe
