Former 5 star DT Walter Nolen is in the portal

I seem to recall he was one of the five DL that A&M paid $40 million for two years ago. I'm curious what the deal is with this guy and why he's in the portal. Assuming he's not a cancer in the locker room and/or is uncoachable, I'd think Bama would be interested in him.

Robinson was supposed to be elevated to DC, but it seems like Elko wanted to go in another direction, so maybe that pissed off Nolen?
Robinson bolted to be the DC at 'Cuse, so maybe Nolen will head there

Dude has already made a fortune at A&M. Maybe he'll come to Bama cheap just to experience winning.
