Great news but is he 100 percent healthy? His loss was major

That's good news. He kind of a JAG but we need all the depth we can get up front

Definitely not. Was playing as well as any DL in the country before his injury.

Complete BS. Eboigbe was playing better than he had his entire career before his injury. His loss really affected the front seven.

There is a pretty clear before-JE injury and after-JE stat split in terms of our run defense this season - and that isn't just because of the teams we played.
If he's a healthy (which may be a big if), he's a huge piece up there.

Hopefully he is. I saw in street clothes watching a DL drill the week of the Sugar Bowl. I hope that he's fully recovered before he returns.

definitely need a good interior D lineman. He was probably our best going into the season. That is where Ga is way better than us.

I'm speaking towards the context of Eboigbe as a football player, not how he's looked compared to his peers on our swiss cheese defense the last two years. I'll respectfully disagree that he's more than a solid but not spectacular defensive lineman in the echelons of Saban defensive linemen. I'd probably have him in that tier of solid not spectacular with guys like Ed Stinson, Quinton Dial, and Isaiah Buggs. We need him, every team does, I just don't really see the thought process behind making him out as some elite defensive lineman though.

Exactly. Georgia is much better on the DL. I know these guys here don’t want to admit it but if there’s been a hole in recruiting over the last few years is DL.

Downvoter....List any guy on that DL that's a first day or even second day draft pick? GO back and look at recruiting over the last three years and compare Georgia's DL recruiting to ours...it's not even.

So is the reason for our poor DL due to recruiting misses or coaching or both?

Georgia’s DL is pretty pedestrian outside of Carter

Careful...the BSC will not like your view. Everybody we have is an All American you know. We just can't stop anybody on 3rd down but that is all on Pete.

10th in 3rd down defense but by all means keep going.
