What I love about jermy - he lines up his 5 star athletes and tells them to go kill that guy over there. There's beauty in it.

You don't remember jermy proot, from sand mountain? The best DC we've ever had?

I like Pruitt…but I think Kirby Smart was the best DC we’ve ever had…

I, personally, preferred Pruitt's more aggressive defense, but I didn't have a lot of complaints with Kirby.

Said Jeremy has been in contact with Bama about employment.
Pruitt can be in contact with Alabama all he wants. Alabama isn't hiring him.

What he said. Saban probably wants Pruitt back, hell, we all do. But thanks to Fat-arse Phil Fulmer, Jeremy is radioactive and will be for some time. He is scorched earth personified and will be blackballed by the SEC and the NCAA for the foreseeable future.

I've seen ppl say Pruitt would be cleared of wrongdoing soon. So if he return to Alabama, its either as analyst or DC.

I lean towards Kirby primarily due to his results over such a long time; he was our DC for 8 years and was pretty consistent during that time. My favorite defense of his was ‘09, but the ‘11, ‘12, and ‘15 defenses were pretty special too. I also think having been under Saban so long, Kirby learned his defense just about as good as him. When he went to UGA, his defenses have pretty much been consistent with the Bama defenses…
Pruitt was only there a couple of years; while I liked his results, I would’ve liked to see what he would’ve done with more time here. I know when he left for UT, unlike Kirby, his defenses weren’t really on par with those at Bama. I’m probably an outlier as my favorite defense of Pruitt’s was the 2017 version. While 2016 had a lot of stars, ranked high, and scored a lot of defensive TDs, it also gave up three 400+ yard passing games that year; it’s one thing to give up 400+ to Deshaun Watson but it’s another to give that type of yardage up to Chad Kelly and, especially, Austin Allen.
While I wouldn’t mind seeing Pruitt come back at some point, until those payment allegations are cleared up, don’t think it’s happening any time soon…

Time will tell.

Literally no one in any kind of position to know has said any such thing. As of Nov. 4, when Tennessee self imposed sanctions, the NCAA had not yet even sent an NOA. In addition, the university stating that there were likely Level 1 violations and that the breadth of the violations were "stunning", does not bode well for a quick return to NCAA football for Jeremy Pruitt.
Just to reiterate, Level 1 violations include...
Academic fraud
Failure to cooperate in an NCAA enforcement investigation
Individual unethical or dishonest conduct
Lack of institutional control
Violation due to a head coach’s responsibility for an underlying Level I violation by an individual within the sport program
Pruitt has been accused by the University of the above violations to a "stunning" degree. Alabama isn't going to hire him until he's been cleared, and the NCAA apparently is nowhere near completing that investigation. They haven't even sent a NOA. If the NCAA was finished, they would have quickly accepted Tennessee's self'imposed sanctions. They didn't.
edit: to compound Tennessee's arrogance, although they accused Pruitt of "stunning" Level 1 violations, they did not include a postseason ban this year as part of their self-imposed penalties. They probably should have, IMO. If they are indeed trending upward, sitting at home next year will be a bigger blow.
