Thompson fell because of a degenerative knee condition. Harrison should’ve come back.

Even with the penalties it would be nice to get an experienced piece back on the line.

Thompson simply didn’t play very well the back half of last season. McKinney outplayed him thoroughly.

Alabama players selected:

1st round:

3. Jerry Jeudy
10. Tua Tagovailoa
15. Jedrick Wills
16. Henry Ruggs
22. Terrell Lewis
25. DeVonta Smith
28. Xavier McKinney
32. Dylan Moses

2nd round:

38. Alex Leatherwood
39. Trevon Diggs
44. Najee Harris
63. Raekwon Davis

3rd round:

87. Anfernee Jennings

8 first round draft picks from one school? That would be insane. Alabama's record is 4 (had four multiple times) and the overall record is Miami with 6.

Also that lists 13 overall picks which I think would also be a record (Alabama with 12 is the current record I think)?

In any event, kind of sucks these guys are going out on such a disappointing season. Surprising that their one NC season was as freshman (for most of them).

ETA: But what a recruiting pitch that would be. The sheer numbers of guys coming out of Alabama into the NFL is staggering.

If all those players would have stayed healthy for 18 and 19. Bama would have went 30-0 the last two years.

That 17 recruiting class was insane, too bad the injuries cost them so much.
