Did he game plan for Ga the whole off-season? Figured the team was talented enough to get by some of these other teams?

It looks like he game planned for Ga and hasn't game planned for a team since. Once Ga made adjustments it was over.

Georgia came in highly overconfident and flat. That is the only reason Alabama won that game.

The players were locked in for that game but that emotion wore off and the true picture was revealed in the 2nd half.

The reality is Alabama has played 2 complete games: 1 against an overmatched WKU team, 1 against a Wisconsin team who lost their starting quarterback on the first drive of the game.

Every other game has been a disjointed mess where the team can't make critical plays or does everything imaginable to keep the other team in the game.

The true picture of this team is they're talented, unprepared, undisciplined, and generally unfocused. It is a reflection of the coaching staff. That's why 7 games in, I'm already fearful that we're going to be looking for a new head coach in 1-2 years.

Did you see Kirby's first team at UGA? Sark's first team at Texas?

For the love of christ, if we had a semi competent QB none of you guys would be dooming this bad. Hate to break it to you but these problems have been plaguing the program for three years now and progressively worsened each season so it's not a Deboer issue....

But this team was looking this undisciplined under Sabin as well. We’ve had a record number of penalties the last couple of years. It’s not the coaches, as much as it is the culture. The fear that if you chew a players arse out for being a shithead, they’ll hit the portal.. The NIL rules have completely emasculated a coaching staff. I don’t know how you’re supposed to discipline or motivate players who are getting a paycheck either way, Win or lose. My suggestion is a player forfeits $1000 in NIL money for every penalty yard they incur. There should be rewards for wins, and penalties for losses. Especially stupid ones.

I just don't buy the NIL culture disease argument because it doesn't seem to be totalized but instead localized to the Mal Moore Athletic Facility.

And say whatever you want about the not-up-to-vintage Saban teams in his last 3 seasons but he didn't have players getting personal conduct penalties before a crucial 4th down or players having full on meltdowns on the field when the lost is guaranteed. Throwing helmets on the sideline or carrying on in the locker room is a far cry from what Moore did versus Vanderbilt.

Furthermore, Saban won 2 SEC titles, coached in a CFPCG, and national semifinal in those 3 not-up-to-vintage seasons. Do you think DeBoer about to sniff any accomplishments like that in 2024?

#4 is just one player. It’s pretty evident that this team’s talent is over-rated and that the lack of discipline has just carried over into 2024. Bama has been one of the most-penalized teams for several years running. Is this culture, entitlement, poor coaching, or what?

Anyway, if a head coach making $10M+ can’t get it corrected, is said coach worthy of being here? We won’t really have that answer until 2025. As things stand, Alabama football is literally unwatchable and I won’t be watching another play until the calendar turns. I am sick and tired of bad football and I can see it every Sunday without becoming physically ill in the process.

Youve just been dazzling the board with your Xs and Os breakdown.

The team needs better players. It needs players who have bought in. Every new coach deals with this and yet yall think Deboer was supposed to take a team that should have lost 3 games last year, minus its best defensive players, and roll everyone

LOL. DeBoer inherited a better situation than Saban in 2007. Making that comparison is laughable.

Keep on being the board clown.

No temper tantrum at all on my end. Simply making some unbiased observations. Do you think this team looks good, or disciplined? Is it underachieving or overachieving?

I am not ready to thrown the head coach under the bus (yet). But I am certainly looking forward to finding out if he has the stones and coaching acumen to make whatever coaching staff adjustments he deems necessary, as well as adjustments to the overall approach to leading this program. Saban was able to right the ship in his second year, as well as significantly upgrade the roster. Is that too much to ask of a $10M+ head coach now?
