I've seen Vandy beat Bama before, and they are a win away from tying the series all time vs AU. This is a good Vandy team. Bama came in overlooking them and failed to adjust other than some showing their asses.
Also, I recall multiple struggles with USCe.
It's football. Things happen, but yes, it is an adjustment year. The upperclassmen are learning new schemes and concepts. Full scheme on either side of the ball can't open until the players are comfortable with the basics. It may still be a shite product, but I'd bet talent will fill the gap. We'll just have to see.

I don’t always agree with you but you’re absolutely right about this. Some ppl take it way too seriously, especially when Bama loses.

That's why his little meltdown against vanderbilt pissed me off more than anything. Malachi has a lot on tape over the last 5 years where it's pretty clear he's hoping someone else will make the tackle. I think his injury issues over the years have probably made him a more cautious tackler.
Downs probably makes that play in the backfield

Then why not come up with a different name for the call? Seems reasonable, especially if it has happened everywhere he's been during the first year. How many times do you have to do something that doesn't work before you learn to stop doing it?
